Activities
Take a swim and enjoy one of our four beautiful beaches. All the beaches within the invisible boundaries of the club are open exclusively to members and guests from dawn until dusk. Members' larger boats may be secured to the piers for brief periods and sailboats and dinghies can be beached throughout the day.
Tennis is the sport of choice among our members. We've got 7 Har-Tru and 2 Hard Courts with pickleball, too! Under the direction of our resident tennis pro and assistants, programs include round-robin tournaments, group instruction, and team matches that are held throughout the summer.
Children and family activities are very popular at West Chop Club. Organized family softball games and soccer matches are played in the evenings at the club field. Children under 8 can enjoy a fenced-in playground complete with swings, slides, and climbing equipment. Activities include field trips, games, crafts, and special events, and when cooperative adults and boats are available, there are fishing and picnic trips to other islands.
For those who want to enjoy a round of golf the Mink Meadow Golf Club less than a mile from the club offers 9 holes of traditional golf with seaside views. Or, a ride to Oaks Bluff offers 18 holes of championship-caliber golf at Farm Neck Golf Club.
